The central focus of The Centre for Industrial Production (CIP) at Aalborg University is on linking theory to method, with a special interest in the interplay between product development, manufacturing and distribution networks in a global context. Aalborg University is particularly committed to Problem Based Learning, and CIP are fully immersed in this, ensuring that their most relevant and up-to-date research activity is delivered to students through project based work with particular emphasis on industrial experience. The Centre’s research is organised into four distinct areas: Product Development in Networks; Supply Chain Management; Strategic Manufacturing Development; Organisational Design and Change.
